Timeline

How we got here

  1. Founded

    WhitePen Studios started in a living room with two monitors, one game engine license, and a lot of instant noodles. The dream was simple: make something worth playing.

  2. First Engine Build

    WhiteEngine v0.1 was complete. A proprietary renderer capable of real-time neon lighting and large-scale procedural worlds. The foundation of everything we make.

  3. Neon Nexus Alpha

    Neon Nexus entered closed alpha with 10,000 community testers. Feedback shaped the entire second half of development. The studio grew to 12 people.

  4. Launch & Growth

    Neon Nexus launched to 500K players in the first week. Synth Drift entered production. The team doubled to 25 developers across three time zones.

  5. Void Runner Announced

    Void Runner was revealed at the Global Game Summit to a standing ovation. Synth Drift entered beta. The studio hit 1M total players across all titles.

  6. Now

    Three titles in active development. A thriving modding ecosystem. And a community of over 2 million players. The universe keeps expanding.
